 Oomaigoosh plays songs from the 60s and 70s by the Persian Supererstar Googoosh, who is by far the most wellknown artist of Iran. The music is a mixture of Persian folk music and pop, disco and other Western music popular at the time. The band brings back to life the time when Teheran was a place where people sang, drank eachother's health and where people danced in cabarets, in the street and at home. The group is lead by Bahare Ahmad, who besides singing with Oomagioosh is one of Sweden's most wanted actresses.
